Put on the whole armor of God!
"..My brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints - and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel!" Ephesians 6:10-19

FIRE ON THE ALTAR
"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonalble service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." (Romans 12:1-2) You and I are called to be a living offering of worship to the Risen Lord! The problem with a living sacrifice, is that it can crawl off the altar.
Through history there has been many periods of passion for the Lord, followed by coldness. The kings of Israel went through it. Holiness followed by wickedness. Take a look at the Chronicles of the kings of Israel. Jotham did what was right in the sight of the LORD. (2.Chron.27:1-2) Ahaz did not do what was right in the sight of the LORD....The LORD brough Judah low because of Ahaz king of Israel, for he had encouraged moral decline in Judah and had been continually unfaithful to the LORD. (2.Chron.28:1,19) Hezekiah (son of Ahaz) did what was right in the sight of the LORD! (2.Chron. 29:1-2) If your read about Hezekiah, you will read about radical repentance and reformation! Hezekiah came back to, and called the people of God back to the heart of worship!!
"Hezekiah commanded them them to offer the burnt offering on the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD also began....and..continued until the burnt offering was finished." (2.Chron.29:27-28) Our lives are to be a contiunal song of praise to the Lord! It is to continue until we see Jesus face to face! "Therefore, by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name!" (Heb.13:15)
"....A fire shall always be burning on the altar! It shall never go out!" ~ (Lev.6:13)

Does your heart burn for JESUS?
Jesus is coming for His bride, the Church. Are you ready? Does your heart burn and yearn for the day that you see Him face to face? Remember, the lukewarm heart makes Jesus sick!
"Therefore, brethren (and sisteren), having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching!"
